Borana University, 30/10/2025 Borana University has engaged a comprehensive orientation program for its first-year students, introducing them to essential student services, safety protocols, academic rules and regulations, library resources, and other critical aspects of campus life.
The gleaming afternoon brought on board intermediate level leaders, and experts who shared tips on achieving educational excellence and adjusting to campus life.
In his address, Mr. Wario Galma, the University’s Chief Registrar, commended remedial program students who successfully passed the 2017 remedial exams. He also praised the newly assigned students who excelled in the 2017 Grade 12 national exams, earning their admission as first-year students for the 2018 academic year.



He advised the students to make the most of their time at the university, emphasizing the importance of regular class attendance and full engagement in academic pursuits. Students attending the orientation expressed appreciation for the valuable insights gained from representatives across various university offices. “We now feel equipped and motivated to start our journey,” one student remarked.
