Borana University, 1/11/2025 Borana University successfully completed the second day of its capacity building training on “Research Methodology and Publication,” designed for its academic staff. The second day of the training, led by Dr. Ketema Tafess Tulu from Adama Science and Technology University, was superb. It featured in-depth discussions and interactive activities that explored advanced research methodologies and ethical considerations in publication.
The participants actively engaged in practical exercises, sharing insights and experiences related to their research challenges. The feedback from faculty members was highly positive, with many noting that the training significantly bolstered their confidence in pursuing international publications.



One participant highlighted, “The hands-on approach has provided me with essential tools to enhance my research and publication efforts.” In his closing remarks, Mr. Galma Wako, Research, Publication, Ethics and Dissemination Director said, “The reason why the university builds the capacity of its staff is to enhance their research and publication skills and expertise. Once skills enhanced, we expect our academic staff to engage in problem-solving research.” “Our academic staff are expected to publish their research results and further push their efforts to the point that they are able to commercialize their research products.
